Having a new option in the distribution to change the name of the file distributed

Having some options to change the name of the distributed file. Having the ability to include or not the datetime at the end, change the file name. Have the ability to choose the format of the datetime (add a parameter so you could choose GMT Timestamp or Server Timestamp or something else) Would also be nice to be able to create a folder by Year-Month in order to organize the generated files, could be of course anything else than Year-Month (the usage of Global Variables could be very interesting here)

Add the Daylight Saving time logic in the distribution module

The distribution module does not currently manage the daylight saving, we have to manually change the time twice a year. Is it possible to add a logic that will do the change automatically or manage properly the daylight saving time.

Using global variable in the subject and body of the email in the distribution module

Having access to the logs from the web client directly

I would like to be able to access the log file directly from the web client instead of having to go and RDP on the web server in order to get it.

If the distribution fail as an administrator I would like to receive an email letting me know

Instead of checking manually if a distribution failed I would like to automatically receive an email letting me know that it did failed. It should be send to the ADMIN email.

Scheduler to Suppress Emails When Restrictions Result in No Data

When using the scheduler to email out reports, we have a report with multiple users, each with different restrictions. The restrictions filter the data correctly per user, however, when there is a user for which the restrictions result in no data, we’d like to suppress the email sent to them. There is a condition for not sending an email to any user, but not a condition per user level. Basically, a condition to not send an email to that user if there is no data for a given user’s restrictions. Ideally, I'd like the ability to toggle whether or not SEI sends a blank attachment or not (in some cases, even if the attachment is blank, the email may serve as a useful notification) The only way to handle this currently is to setup and maintain a scheduled report (distribution job) for each user.

Admin Ability to Log in as User (Impersonate)

We would like the ability for administrator users to be able to log in as any individual user. There are multiple benefits such as being able to view exactly what an end user is seeing and making changes to assist them. As well as to check security and access. Currently, when we need to check the access an account has (checking that the restrictions we have in place are providing us with the desired result), we will typically clone a user account and log in to it. We also have a few test accounts setup for each our groups for this. Having the ability to log directly into a user account would be helpful. As an example, Concur has this ability, it is called "Acting as Others".

Option to always fit all new columns added to the worksheet

Is it possible to add a feature to activate the "Always Fit All on add" so if we add a new column in the worksheet it will automatically fit this new column.

Create template/theme design for the view with pre-defined settings

Let say we have a worksheet and within the worksheet I set some Header color, horizontal line display, total row position, bold, etc... so many properties. I would like to save that as a theme or pre-define settings that I could after use on my other worksheet to save some time. It would be so useful to save default settings for views: - Legend font size - Legend location - Color theme - Etc...

Excel Addin in the Web Platform

Currently, one of the major pain points with upgrading to newer versions of SEI is that the excel add-in for each user also needs to be upgraded. It is disruptive to our users to have to update the add-in, especially since many of our users require assistance in doing so. *** Note from the Product Manager: The Excel Add-In is currently being fully redesign and will be integrated in the Web Platform as a new type of view (Web Workbook). It will include all the existing Add-In features (formula wizard, data extraction, Pivot, etc...) but they will all be enhanced and more feature will be added in the same time. The Caching will also be fully redesigned, no more "Reference Configuration" where you are not sure what to included or not... a new AI system will do everything for you automatically. This also mean : - No more upgrade of client application - Be able to embed in application like X3, Team, etc... - Working on Mac, IPad, etc... - And many more....
