When we add a view to a dashboard have the option to have the definition link to the original view

Instead of having the view definition saved in the dashboard I would like to be able to link the definition to the original view. So if I change the original view and this view is linked to 5 dashboard it will affect all the dashboards. I understand that if the original view is Deleted all the dashboard will have issues, It's why it's should only be an option and not be activated by default.
