Restricting tables in the data model

We would like to be able to restrict someone who has design data model access to only see a specific set of tables in that data source. Currently there is no way to prevent them from adding only specific tables.

Hi Edwin,
As a workaround you could duplicate the Environment (in Environment and Datasource), set a different SQL Users for that specific environment at the datasource level. For this specific SQL User you can grant only specific tables in SQL (and other specific authorization if required). Once done you give that specific environment only to that user that need to do design Data Model and he will only be able to access the list of tables that you have authorized.
