Adding a new feature to validate the data that is entered in a grid in data entry mode

We would like the ability to add a validation on columns that are opened to data entry.
As an example we would like to be able to put a validation that will check that the amount is not greater than 50 000, if the user enter a budget as an example of more than 50 000 it would block and show an error message of our choice.

Would be great to enhance this and add prompts and sections to fill in values as well as validations

Hi Paul,
There is already a feature called "Validate against Prompt" in the Edit section of the Data Model. If a column is having a prompt already defined and you activate this ability it will validate that the value entered exist in the list of values of the prompt. In addition the prompt button will be available when you edit the value in the grid. What is missing is more a conditional validation (ex: the value needs to be between 18 and 77 without having to define a prompt that contains all the possible values).
